Rogues Read Books Too: Introduction to the Port of Contempt

Now, I'll be introducing the characters for Port of Contempt (Contemporary.)

And what is the setting of this game of D&D? Glad you asked!
The lands of Bookia is under attack! The Genres (the rulers of their respective domains) have summoned the best of the best to fight the evil rival empire of Technologia whose people are dedicated to eradicating and turning obsolete the wonderful land of Bookia. But as the Genres don't mix well, these fighters are a motley group of healers, warriors, and wizards.

And now...for the main event.
The introduction of the first set of characters! I'll be dividing the team up into genres and introducing them one by one. 

RJ from It's a Wonderful Death by Sarah J Schmitt

Backstory: RJ originally was a human. She grew up in the Port of Contempt, but she was changed into a drow by a sorcerer she spited. As a drow, she raged and killed. She became a rogue to keep her living. She is notorious for doing whatever she wants. The Port of Contempt authorities caught her drunk in a moment of weakness on the anniversary of her changing. The governor of the city-state took her to become his representative because he knew she would be cutthroat.

Willowdean from Dumplin' by Julie Murphy

Class: Bard

Alignment: Lawful Good

Backstory: Willowdean or Will has a love of music since she was a child. She grew up in the music sector. Her mother tried to get her into the modelling industry because she was in it, but Willowdean just wanted to escape. She felt cooped up in the Port of Contempt. She fled as soon as she was legally able. She began to be well-known for her songs and her voice. Her voice supposedly carries magical powers to lure people into doing her bidding.
